Homemade Fruit Oatmeal

Today is Monday and it’s raining here in the DMV area. How is everyone doing? For me personally, it’s becoming very difficult to stay inside day in and day out. Trust me, I get it.

Sometimes, starting the day with a warm, comforting and healthy breakfast is just want is needed.

I’m too lazy to make anything big today so I’m making my fruit oatmeal. Most of these items you already have.

From the Pantry: rolled oats, cinnamon, nutmeg

From the Fridge: fruit selection, milk, butter (optional)

Follow directions on the back of your oats. (I like to infuse milk with a little bit of butter, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Top with whatever fruit you have.
